Little Doses ("we", "our", "the app") is a baby medication tracking application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Little Doses is for tracking dose timing only and does not provide medical advice. The app is designed to help parents and caregivers keep track of when medication was administered. It does not recommend, prescribe, or advise on any medication or dosage.

Always read the medication label and follow the instructions provided. Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional for exact dosage requirements and before administering any medication to your child. In case of emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

By using Little Doses, you acknowledge and agree that the app is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: Email address used to sign in.
• Medication logs: Medication names, doses, and timestamps you record.
• Child profiles: Names, dates of birth, and avatar colours you provide.
• Illness records: Illness names, dates, and notes you enter.
• Family sharing data: Email addresses of family members you invite.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To display your medication tracking history and dosage schedules.
• To send push notifications when the next dose is available.
• To sync data across your devices and with invited family members.
• To send invite emails to family members you choose to invite.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the app's core functionality.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encrypted database hosting with row-level security. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Family members: If you invite someone to your family group, they can view shared medication logs, child profiles, and illness records.
• Email delivery: We use Resend to send invite emails. Only the recipient's email address and inviter name are shared with this service.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law.

5. Children's Privacy

Little Doses is designed for parents and caregivers to track their children's medication. The app does not collect data directly from children. All data is entered and managed by the parent or caregiver account holder.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data through the app at any time.
• Delete individual records (doses, children, illnesses) within the app.
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Export your data by requesting it from us.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

8. Push Notifications

The app may request permission to send push notifications to remind you when the next dose is available. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
